Essential Families, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Missouri, has led the way in delivering vital services for children and family development, accessible virtually 24/7-similar to how Amazon delivers products right to your doorstep.
Our Collective Impact Integrated Service Platform (CIISP), is populated with 81,176 individuals in the greater Kansas City area who live at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). Working in partnership with 38 community organizations, we have already bridged the digital divide for 572 households.
Our CIISP expands upon the success of the Essential Digital Equity Program and leverages OmniReach, a Hyper-Targeted Social Media Platform, built with AI/ML capabilities and MySQL relational databases (Data Lakes).
CIISP serves as the backbone and driver of systemic change across our 38 community partners, helping to stabilize children and families while integrating services that support a "Cradle to Career" approach, bridging both the digital divide and the economic mobility gap.
This platform is driven and measured by Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), with community impact results reported in real-time, providing a Community Return on Investment (CROI), to our funding partners.
Furthermore, CIISP's AI/ML capabilities and Amazon-like, system-level changes have already made a measurable impact, closing the digital divide for 572 households. The platform demonstrates immense potential to further narrow economic mobility gaps, benefiting communities in greater Kansas City, as well as rural and urban areas nationwide.
